EMPOWERING THE UNDERSERVED WITH ESTATE PLANNING & BUSINESS PLANNING STRATEGIES
Launching ELS right after law school and as a part-time team of one, Valarie Sewer is no stranger to conquering audacious goals. Valarie has over 20 years of experience as a business, legal, and contracts professional, providing consulting and other services to entreprenuerial hopefuls, small business owners (including minority and women-owned businesses), artists and entertainers, Fortune 500 companies and privately held organizations. Through these experiences, Valarie helped global brands, national brands, and up-and-comers acheive their business and personal objectives while mitigating their legal and financial risks.
Valarie's pro bono services have included assisting low-income cancer patients, fire fighters, and veterans with drafting their estate plans (will, financial power-of-attorney, health care power of attorney, etc.), and consulting with small business owners to address various legal matters.
Valarie is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Valarie seeks to leverage her experience, know-how, and desire to serve to help more individuals protect their legacies and more business owners achieve their own audacious goals. Particularly, Valarie strives to be a resource to the underserved, who have historically lacked the financial means to engage lawyers on business and estate planning matters.
Valarie earned a law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law, a master's in business administration from Georgia Institute of Technology, a bachelor's degree in English from University of Missouri-Kansas City, and a paralegal certificate from University of California - Los Angeles, Extension. Valarie currently serves as Senior Counsel for a global, private owned manufacturing company.
